Travis Funkhouser, CPA
Travis is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and founder of Maryland Tax Service, Inc., where he advises individuals, families, and business owners on tax preparation and planning.
Travis has extensive experience in individual and business taxation, with a focus on proactive tax planning and helping clients identify opportunities to minimize taxes and plan for and reduce future tax obligations. His professional experience also includes financial accounting and audit, and he currently works for NIH as an internal controls auditor.
In addition to Maryland Tax Service, Travis is also an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) with Glover Park Wealth Management. In this separate role, he brings a tax-focused perspective to financial planning and investment decisions, to help clients achieve their financial goals, while minimizing their tax liability.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys spending time with his friends and family, cooking, physical fitness, fishing, and following Washington, D.C. sports teams.
Elliott Eaton, EA
Elliott is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with Maryland Tax Service, Inc. and an experienced tax professional who works with both individuals, small businesses, and non-profits. He brings a strong background in tax preparation and compliance, including prior experience with H&R Block.
Elliott’s broad tax experience provides him with a versatile and well-rounded knowledge of tax preparation that our clients rely on. He is skilled in handling a wide range of individual and business tax returns and providing tax planning advice, to help clients plan for and manage their tax liability.

Andy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the firm's longest-tenured team member at Maryland Tax Service, Inc. Andy brings years of experience preparing individual tax returns and assisting clients with their annual tax filing needs. Jeannette is the backbone of the Maryland Tax Service, Inc. team. Working behind the scenes, she plays an essential role in keeping the firm organized and running smoothly. She manages many of the administrative responsibilities that support our clients and tax professionals, helping ensure an efficient and seamless experience throughout the year.
