Our History
Maryland Tax Service, Inc. traces its roots to 2012, when Travis Funkhouser began preparing taxes in his father-in-law's tax preparation service. Once Travis earned his CPA license in 2013, he then ventured off on his own as a solo practitioner. As a small business, Maryland Tax Service, Inc. serves a wide variety of individuals and couples, small businesses, Homeowners' Associations (HOAs), nonprofits, as well as tax clients throughout the US and abroad.
